Cunruope: Inspired by a Shared Passion for Pilates

　　Cunruope began with a simple goal: to make high-quality Pilates equipment accessible to everyone. Affordability and quality are at the heart of what we do. The story began in 2018 when I met Mary while studying at MIT. Mary, a seasoned expert, inspired me with her deep understanding of Pilates and its transformative benefits.

　　Mary brings over 15 years of Pilates expertise and holds multiple certifications, including Stott Pilates Certified Specialist, Certified Sports Nutritionist (NASN), and Physical Therapist. She is also an ERYT500 and YACEP instructor, as well as a Master Teacher in Dance (RDE). Her impressive background highlights her dedication to health, fitness, and movement.

　　We quickly discovered our mutual passion for Pilates and a shared belief that it could bring balance, strength, and joy to countless lives. We also saw a growing interest in Pilates but realized that high equipment costs were holding many people back. This realization sparked the idea for Cunruope.

　　In 2020, with support from my family’s business, we took a leap of faith and established our own factory. Mary played a crucial role in the design process, working closely with our team to ensure that every piece of equipment was practical, durable, and user-friendly. Her hands-on experience guided us in creating products that meet the practical needs of Pilates enthusiasts, whether they’re beginners or seasoned practitioners.

　　Cunruope was born out of a desire to empower more people to embrace the benefits of Pilates. By combining Mary’s expertise and my entrepreneurial drive, we’ve built a brand that prioritizes quality, affordability, and innovation. Today, our mission remains the same: to help people achieve their fitness goals with equipment that enhances their Pilates journey and fits seamlessly into their lives.
